8 miles of hiking • 250' elevation gain •

Beautiful area! I came here for an easy stroll and wanted to find the marmots and get some good wildflower photos. Success on all three goals. Next time, I'm bringing my bike.

Gadzooks! Can you give any more information about this hike? Where did you park? Is it a state park or private land? Is it backpackable? Swimmable? That third photo looks like it would be so wonderful for camping and swimming.

Kyle, this is the 31 mile long Klickitat Rail trail and you will love it. No elevation gains, but remote "desert" scenery await you...... OK I don't know what to call this biome, but it is high prairie with wonderful geology.

I started at the Harms Road TH, but you can start at Wahkiukus and head up to make it a nice easy backpack.

Swimmable- sure, but there are cows upstream, so don't gulp the water.
